Christasia Coleman

Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor

Hello there! My name is Christasia Coleman and here is a little more information you might want to know about me. I completed my B. A. in Psychology [with a minor in Business Administration] in 2000 at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR. A few months later, I began my master’s degree program in Rehabilitation Counseling, which was successfully finished in December of 2003.

In 2015, I became a licensed supervisor for the state of AR, where I am able to assist in the development and growth of newly licensed counselors known as Licensed Associate Counselors (LAC), as they embark upon their counseling career paths.

With training in telemental health, I am able to visit with individuals needing counseling and supervision from all over the state of AR, using various technology methods [like video] to conduct these sessions.

Over the years, I have worked with a number of children, adolescents & adults with mental health & behavioral needs. With these experiences, The Legacy for Children & Families, LLC was founded & established in 2015 and continues on til now.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, hanging out with my friends, traveling, traveling, traveling, exercising, reading, writing and just plain ole doing ABSOLUTELY nothing! Oh! Did I mention TRAVELING? Yes, I really love doing that! LOL! Life, for me, is like a classroom. It is my platform for learning and growth. Therefore, I embrace every experience with love and curiosity, whether challenging or smooth.
